Prosecutors had to drop homicide charges today in a September shooting on a Wilcox Boulevard shooting when a witness failed to show for the hearing.

Prosecutors Bret Alexander and Neal Pinkston subpoenaed Jessica Little, who told police that Marcus Boston admitted to shooting Quincy Bell on Sept. 22, 2012 while driving in the 3800-block of Wilcox Boulevard.

Little is in Florida but hasn't returned for multiple hearings.

Prosecutors can file charges again if they bring witnesses or evidence.
