ATHENS, Tenn. - Howard claimed their third consecutive Region 3-AA championship Thursday, defeating McMinn Central 60-59 at McMinn County High School.

Brandon Walters finished with 19 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Hustlin' Tigers, while Xavier Harris added 15 and Cudjoe Young 10. Tim Webb led the Chargers with 19 points.
