New Army, Air Force basic training grads
• Air Force Airman Andrew M. Leonard has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Yolanda Calhoun and Terrence Leonard and is a 2011 graduate of East Hamilton Middle-High School.
• Army Pfc. Logan A. Mills has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Perry Mills of Johnson Road and a 2011 graduate of Signal Mountain Middle-High School.
Revival store gets magazine honor
Revival, an interior design studio and store located in Warehouse Row, has been named to a listing in the January issue of Architectural Digest.
The magazine includes the Chattanooga store in its "Insider Secrets of the AD100," which is a compilation by 100 designers across the country. Bobby McAlpine names Revival as "the savviest, prettiest, loveliest design store in America. You might as well back your truck up to it."
Susan Palmer Pierce is a reporter and columnist in the Life department. She began her journalism career as a summer employee 1972 for the News Free Press, typing bridal announcements and photo captions.
