Man arrested in mall stabbing
Chattanooga police have arrested the man they say stabbed two JCPenney employees Thursday while trying to shoplift blue jeans at Hamilton Place mall.
Andrew Morgan Hall, 30, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and theft of property under $500, according to a police news release.
The police report states that Hall was trying to walk out of the store with four to five pairs of blue jeans. Loss-prevention officers Heath Hoskins and Keith Langley tried to stop him at the door.
Hall ran outside and got into a fight with Hoskins and Langley, the report states.

Hoskins was wounded in his right leg and right arm. Langley was wounded on the left side of his abdomen. Both men are in stable condition, according to police.
Hall drove off in a white car. Police arrested him after Hoskins and Langley identified him in photos, according to the report.
Hall's bond is set at $901,000. He is scheduled to appear Friday before General Sessions Court Judge Lila Statom.
