A recently promoted Bradley County Fire and Rescue battalion chief has been suspended after texting photos of his genitals to a female department employee, records show.
County Attorney Crystal Freiberg confirmed that the complaint was made earlier this month.
Don Tankersley, who was promoted to his position over certain day-to-day operations in December, was suspended without pay for two days, records show.
Freiberg said the incident did not involve a county-issued phone.
