The new season of "Monster Fish" on Nat Geo Wild kicks off Friday, July 5, with an episode featuring giant catfish.

Filming brought Dr. Zeb Hogan and his crew to the Tennessee Aquarium, lured by tales of Volkswagen-size catfish.

Hogan came face-to-face with a giant blue catfish in the aquarium's River Giants exhibit and then spent some time noodling for blue catfish in the Tennessee River.

The episode will air at 10 p.m.
