The Chattanooga History Center will present the sixth lecture in a preview series of Gallery Talks at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. The series is examining each gallery visitors will encounter in the center's new facility, scheduled to open late this year.
Each preview stands as an independent program. Tuesday's presentation is "We All Live on the Same Street," which covers the Tennessee Valley Authority, World War II and the post-war era in the region.
CHC Executive Director Dr. Daryl Black will present the program. It will examine the reasons certain artifacts have been chosen for the exhibit and will include a visit to the gallery's space in the new facility to see how it relates to the whole.
Fee is $5 per person, free for CHC members. Space is limited. Reservations are required by Monday, July 15. Call 423-265-3247 to register.
