ATLANTA - U.S. Marshals officials say a fugitive has been arrested in suburban Atlanta after three years on the run.

Marshals spokesman Gavin Duffy says 34-year-old Josh Varner was taken into custody Wednesday night in East Point. Duffy says Varner was indicted in 2010 on drug charges and had been on the run since then.

Duffy says more than 100 pounds of suspected marijuana, a large amount of methamphetamine, a gun and two vehicles authorities found when Varner was arrested have been seized by authorities. Duffy says Varner was a suspected member of a Savannah area drug trafficking operation. Duffy says Varner is also a hip-hop musician whose stage name is "Big Homie Screwww."

It's unclear if Varner has an attorney.
