CHATTANOOGA — Chattanooga Fire officials are investigating a house fire that left six people homeless.

Chattanooga Fire responded to the fire on the 1700 block of Oak Street around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The fire started in a closet but spread to the attic according to Chattanooga Fire. The fire burned partially through the roof before it was put out. The fire was contained to the rear of the house.
