Commuter train in Nashville hits truck, driver injured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Music City Star commuter train and a dump truck have collided in Hermitage.

The crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. today and the conductor told police the trucker had ample time to move, but did not. It wasn't clear whether police were able to talk to the truck driver before he was taken to a hospital.

Police said the crossing lights were working.
