Three face charges in Chattanooga video game robbery

Two men reported to police they were robbed at gunpoint while playing video games at a residence last week, according to a Chattanooga police report.

Demetrius Goode, 18; Antonio Smith, 18; and Cudjoe Young, 17; all face charges including aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and theft of property charges.

The three reportedly took the keys to a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue parked in the driveway at 1223 Radmoor Circle, according to a report.

The men robbed, Bobby Ashe and Ronald Harman, had the garage door open when the suspects came in. Two cellphones and laptops were taken from them.

The suspects left in the vehicle and were arrested at Emma Wheeler Homes. Young was found in possession of a loaded black and gray semi-automatic pistol. Young and Goode reportedly admitted to police that they were involved in the robbery, according to the report.

Young’s case is in Juvenile Court. Goode and Smith both have bonds set at $160,000 and remained in the Hamilton County Jail on Tuesday.

Both are scheduled to go before Hamilton County General Sessions Court Judge David Bales Aug. 28.
