"Faces of the Goddess: An Evening of Ritual Belly Dance" will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave.; doors open at 7:30 p.m.
According to host Eliza Luminara, left, of Gesserit Spice, the program will "follow the goddess through the ages" and "explore the roots of movement from ancient times" through India, Africa, Russia and the Celtic lands.
In addition to Gesserit Spice, dancers from Mirabai Bellydance and other local troupes will perform, along with live music from Robin Burk and Mirabai.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
