Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke's office will lay out its budget on Wednesday because of President Barack Obama's visit to the Scenic City.

Council Chair Yusuf Hakeem said he has asked Berke's staff to move the meeting to Wednesday so more residents will attend.

"We will ensure that more citizens and city employees have the opportunity to attend this important city presentation and participate in the budgeting process," Hakeem said in a prepared statement.

Obama is set to visit Chattanooga on Tuesday and plans to tour the Amazon fulfillment center.
