The Little Ol' (Hairy) Band from Texas, ZZ Top, is set to play Chattanooga.

The band is scheduled at Memorial Auditorium on Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. Reserved-seat tickets, which run from $59 to $77 plus fees, are on sale now.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, ZZ Top is the longest perpetually running rock band that still has all of its original members. Guitarist/vocalist Billy Gibbons, bassist/vocalist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard released their first album, "ZZ Top's First Album," in 1971. They've released 15 studio albums in all.

The band was a staple of FM radio in the 1970s with such songs as "La Grange," "Tush" and "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers," but became international superstars in the 1980s when videos for songs such as "Legs," "Gimme All Your Lovin'" and "Sharp-Dressed Man" ran in massive rotation on MTV.

Tickets for the Chattanooga show can be bought at the Memorial Auditorium box office, online at www.chattanoogaonstage.com and by phone at 423-642-TIXS or 757-5050.
