Suns shut out Lookouts

Chattanooga was shut out for the sixth time in its last 14 games to drop to 14-21 in the Southern League's second half after losing 3-0 to the Jacksonville Suns on Sunday.

Jacksonville took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on Mark Canha's double to left that scored Isaac Galloway and Taylor Krick.

The Suns made it 3-0 in the fourth when Michael Main doubled to left and scored on a throwing error.

Game two of a five-game series in Jacksonville is tonight at 7:05.

Duke von Schamann (2-3, 3.42) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, while the Suns have not announced their starter.
