Chattanooga City Council votes to replace Memorial Auditorium roof

Several City Council members walked the roof of Memorial Auditorium today to see if it needs to be replaced.

“I can assure you, it does need to be replaced,” Councilman Chip Henderson, whose job is in construction, said. “It’s threadbare.”

The Chattanooga City Council voted 9-0 tonight to spend more than $350,000 to put a new roof on Soldier's and Sailors Memorial Audtirorium.
