Officials at PK Management say displaced Patten Towers residents will stay in hotels through mid-June but could not comment on what happens after that date.
Tim Sheets, social services coordinator for the management company, which operates Patten Towers as a Section 8 housing facility for the elderly and disabled, said today during a community social services meeting at the American Red Cross on McAllie Ave. that residents would stay in hotels until June 17.
Representatives from numerous social service organizations in Chattanooga attended and volleyed questions at Sheets, who mostly did not comment on specifics about future housing or transportation plans for residents.
Initially, the residents had been set to stay in hotels for seven days.
