4 teens arrested after Cleveland middle, high school heist this morning

Three suspects have been arrested after burglaries at Cleveland Middle School and Cleveland High School, according to a news release from the Cleveland Police Department.

Three suspects entered the middle school around 2 a.m. today by breaking the glass on the side of entrance doors, the news release stated.

The suspects reportedly vandalized $10,000 worth of school property and stole over $10,000 worth of various items, mostly computer equipment, the release stated. One suspect was left outside as the lookout.

Cleveland police officers found the suspects, who reportedly confessed to the burglary, theft and vandalism, in a residence on Navaho Drive.

During a police interview with the suspects, it was also revealed that Cleveland High School was burglarized as well. That case is being further investigated.

The suspects, identified as Dakota Norwood, 18, Jordan Miller, 18, Samuel Hazleton, 18, and one male juvenile, will be charged with burglary, theft over $10,000 and vandalism over $10,000.

All stolen property was recovered and will be returned, according to the news release.
