Collegedale police said they responded Friday to a report of a child drowning at the McKee Employee Recreation Center.
Officers administered CPR on the patient when they arrived at the 10620 Apison Pike scene. Eventually, Hamilton County EMS personnel arrived and cared for the patient en route to T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.
There is no update on the patient's condition, police said late Friday afternoon.
