Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is sponsoring a free workshop about the Affordable Care Act and how it will affect small businesses.

The workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, 100 Cherokee Blvd. It will address changes and costs associated with the act, as well as the role of the business owner.

Speakers for the workshop will be April M. Washington, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services public affairs specialist; and Walter N. Perry III, director of the Tennessee District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The workshop is free, but registration is required since lunch will be provided.
