Chattanooga Lookouts stop Huntsville Stars

Starting pitcher Chris Reed allowed just four hits and one run in eight innings as Chattanooga evened its series with Huntsville at a game apiece with a 4-1 win Friday night.

Joc Pederson homered to right in the first inning and Griff Erickson homered to right in the fifth as the Lookouts (33-34) built a 2-0 lead. It was 2-1 entering the ninth, when Sean Burroughs and Bobby Coyle drove in runs.

Game three of a five-game series in Huntsville is tonight at 7:43 EDT.

Andres Santiago (2-5, 5.12) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Taylor Jungmann (7-5, 3.78) scheduled for the Stars.
