Should Rick Smith get a $25,000 raise?

Hamilton County Superintendent Rick Smith could be in line for a raise of about $25,000.

School board members will vote on a proposed four-year, $190,000 contract at their regular Thursday session.

Board members last month moved to offer Smith another four-year contract and renegotiate his salary after they delivered mostly glowing evaluations of his performance.

He currently makes about $165,000 per year.
