Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke sat in today for half an hour taking 311 calls and handling Chattanooga resident's questions and complaints.
Berke said he wanted an opportunity to see what city employees did on a daily basis and also hear the types of residents concerns.
Liz Henley, call center supervisor, said he is the first mayor to take calls in the center's 10-year history.
