Hamilton County Commissioners voted today to accept Mayor Jim Coppinger's $665,319,053 budget after contentious discussion and a failed vote to defer it for two weeks. The budget passed 5-4 in favor.
Commissioners Chester Bankston, Greg Beck, Jim Fields, Marty Haynes and Larry Henry voted to pass the budget. Commissioners Tim Boyd, Joe Graham, Warren Mackey and Fred Skillern voted against it.
