Foundation opens first Tennessee office in Chattanooga

Foundation Financial Group will open its first Tennessee office next week on East Brainerd Road in Chattanooga. The Chattanooga retail branch will initially employ eight persons and offer mortgage, insurance and retirement products and services. The new office is one of 12 branches for the Jacksonville, Fla.-based financial services company, which Inc. magazine identified as one of the fastest growing businesses in its industry.

Each new branch location gives more FFG customers the option to do business in-person, something that can get lost in our digitalizing world," Foundation Financial Group Senior Vice President Marc Chillion said.

Foundation Financial Group has funded over $4 billion in loans and continues its mission to help American families improve their financial situations.

Oddello to add 228 factory jobs in Morristown, Tenn.

Oddello Industries LLC announced Thursday it will expand operations at its Morristown, Tenn., facility and add 228 jobs. The company, which makes furniture components, will invest $4 million in the Hamblen County plant.

"With rising overseas costs of production, shipping and wage rates, Morristown is a logical fit for Oddello's continued growth," Oddello Industries Chief Operating Officer Tom Roberts said in a statement.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam said that companies such as Oddello are "helping us toward our goal of becoming the No. 1 state in the Southeast for high quality jobs." Morristown Mayor Danny Thomas said Oddello has grown from 35 employees to 415 in the past year.
