LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Tenn. - Emergency responders rescued a man who fell about 50 feet while hiking at Sunset Rock on Sunday, according to a news release.
EMS personnel received the call around 1:30 p.m. The victim was about half a mile down the Lookout Mountain trail. According to rescue personnel, it took awhile to get the victim out of the trail.
The 30-year old male sustained critical injuries and was flown by LifeForce to Erlanger Medical Center around 3:30 p.m. in critical condition, the release stated.
