Three intersections on Highway 153 in Hixson will be the site of work on Wednesday on traffic signals as crews upgrade the signal cabinets and change the signals to use a flashing yellow arrow for left turns.
Highway 153's intersection with Grubb Road and the North and South Walmart entrances is where the work will take place.
As the work is carried out, the traffic signals will be turned off and police officers will be present for traffic control.
Drivers are asked to approach the affected intersections as if they were coming up on a four-way stop.
