Three Grundy County, Tenn., residents were arrested in connection with a conspiracy about a dead man's will.

In January, the district attorney's office asked the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations to look into allegations that someone forged the will of James E. Campbell Sr. The will was filed in August, and Campbell's significant other suspected he did not sign it.

Instead, Campbell's son, James E. Campbell II, supposedly forged the signature last March. During the investigation, according to a release, TBI officials found the son did, in fact, fake his father's signature while two people watched and said nothing.

James E. Campbell II, 47; Kelly Foutch, 46; and Labreeska Meeks, 34; were all arrested on criminal conspiracy charges. The grand jury also indicted Campbell on charges of forgery and passing a forged instrument. Officers brought all three to the Grundy County Jail.
