Two people were arrested Tuesday after a traffic stop on Highway 40 in Henagar, Ala., a news release states.

Deputy Danny Miller stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and subsequently searched it, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

The deputy located crack cocaine, marijuana, controlled pills, unprescribed prescription medications and drug paraphernalia. Arrested were James Paul Morgan, 51, of Henegar, and a woman who identified herself as Diane Morgan. She later was determined to be Amy Lynn McCoullough, 49, of Henagar.

Both suspects were taken to the Jackson County Jail and charged with drug-related offenses. The woman signed signed several documents at the jail using the false name earlier provided, which was the name of Morgan's deceased wife. After determining the woman's true identity, more charges were placed against her.

James Paul Morgan was charged with possession of marijuana 1st degree, unlawful possession of controlled substances x4 (Alpazolam, Lorazapam, Hydrocodone, Ambien) and possession of un-prescribed prescription medications, according to the news release. He later was released on $17,500 bond.
