Chattanooga Mayor-elect Andy Berke will hold the first of a series of forums seeking public input on city issues on March 21.
The forum will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at McGilvray Gymnasium at Tennessee Temple University, according to a news release.
The topic is public safety.
"Our streets are too dangerous," Berke said in the release. "We must have a comprehensive plan to reduce the amount of crime in our community."
Future events will be centered on education and economic development.
Berke also will participate in an "Ask-Andy" Twitter hour from 5 to 6 p.m. on March 20. Participate by tweeting @AndyBerke or use #RenewSAFETY.
