Easter bunnies plan photo-ops with pets, special-needs kids

The Easter Bunny is on the job at one area mall and will be soon at the rest.

The bunny arrived last weekend at Hamilton Place, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd. The hutch is on the lower level near Center Stage. Hours for photos and visits are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sundays through March 30.

Pet photo night, 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, will be accompanied by Fifi & Fido's Easter Bonnet Parade. Registration starts at 5 p.m., and the parade of pets in their Easter finery will take place on the stage at 7 p.m. The winner will receive a pet lover's basket valued at $200 from Barnes & Noble.

Visits with the bunny are free. Photo packages start at $21. Reservations are not required, but those who wish to skip the line may pay online at www.HamiltonPlace.com for a Fast Pass. For more information, call 423-894-7177.

The bunny arrives Saturday, March 16, at Northgate Mall in Hixson, Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland, Tenn., and Walnut Square Mall in Dalton, Ga.

At Bradley Square, 200 Paul Huff Parkway, the bunny arrives at 11 a.m., and photos will be made 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sundays through March 30. Pet Nights are 6-8 p.m. the next two Mondays, March 18 and 25.

New this year is a private session for special-needs children. Families may visit between 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday, March 17, for photo-ops that take extra care to support children who have sensory, physical or other developmental issues. Call 423-472-5080 for more information.
