High school standouts for March 14

* Colton Rogers, Silverdale Baptist: He struck out 10 in a 9-1 baseball win over Lookout Valley.

* Jay Simms, Chattanooga Christian: His three hits and three RBIs led the Chargers over Franklin County, 8-3.

* Hunter Brown, Grundy County: He struck out seven in a 6-0 shutout win over Warren County.

* Caleb Longley, Walker Valley: His three RBIs and two runs scored helped the Mustangs thunder past Sweetwater, 19-3.

* Drew Williams, Ooltewah: He held East Hamilton to three hits in an 8-2 win.

* Blake Sorrow, Bledsoe County: He was 4-for-4 with a double as the Warriors defeated Grace Academy 11-2.

* Alex Darras, Notre Dame: He went 2-for-3 with the winning RBI in the Irish's 2-1 victory over Christian Academy of Knoxville.

* Taylor Maxey, Baylor: He struck out eight in an 11-0 win over Cleveland.

* Christian Burnett, McCallie: He went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 9-8 loss to Rabun Gap and was 2-for-3 again when the Blue Tornado edged Station Camp 4-3.

* Trey Hill, Ridgeland: He was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the Panthers' 8-2 win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.

* Madison Hampton, Meigs County: She had two hits and knocked in three runs in a 10-6 softball win over Hixson.

* Tatyana Najeeluh, East Ridge: She hit for the cycle in a 22-0 win over Notre Dame.

* Elise Pearson, Silverdale Baptist: She struck out 10 and hit a home run as the Lady Seahawks defeated Red Bank 10-6.

* Madi Stanley, GPS: She struck out nine and allowed one earned run in a 7-5 win over Walker Valley.

* Bayleigh Morgan, Walker Valley: She hit a grand slam in the Lady Mustangs' 7-5 loss.

* Sarah Frels, Rhea County: She went 3-for-5 with a home run in a 10-7 win over McMInn County.

* JaMichael Knight, Tyner: His goal and assist helped the Rams defeat Bledsoe County in soccer, 3-0.

* Martin Hwang, Berean Academy: He scored the goal in a 1-0 soccer win over Collegedale Academy.

* Fielder Dennis, East Hamilton: He saved five shots in a 1-1 tie with Baylor.

* Josh Taylor, Silverdale Baptist: He had the goal in the Seahawks' 1-0 victory over Bradley Central.

* Kolbe King, East Ridge: He scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Ooltewah.

* Scott Grody, McCallie: He saved five shots in McCallie's 1-0 win against Fort Payne.

* Maddie Sue Nafie, Collegedale Academy: She won both her singles and doubles matches by 8-0 scores in a 9-0 tennis win over Grace Academy.

* Lexi Bowman, Rhea County: She won her singles and doubles matches in a 5-4 tennis win over Ooltewah.

* Abby Taylor, Silverdale Baptist: She won her singles match 8-0 and her doubles match 8-2 as Silverdale beat Sequoyah 9-0.

* Austin Lee, Collegedale Academy: He won the top singles match as Collegedale downed Grace Academy 7-2.

* Bryson and Brayden Lyte, Ooltewah: Each won his singles match and they combined to win a doubles match in a 9-0 defeat of Rhea County.

* Hunter Long, Heritage: His 6-4, 6-2 singles win helped pace the Generals past Southeast Whitfield in boys' tennis, 3-2.
