* Allison Meadows, Silverdale Baptist Academy: She went 2-for-2 with a triple and scored twice as the Lady Seahawks edged Grace Academy 7-6 in the Lady Wildcats March Madness softball tournament at Hixson. It was Silverdale's first win over District 5-A rival Grace in the varsity program's eight-year history.

* Logan Baldwin, Ringgold: He hit one of the Tigers' two grand slams and was also the winning pitcher when they beat Soddy-Daisy 14-4 in a six-inning baseball game.

* Justin Brown, Polk County: He was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored in the Wildcats' 6-0 victory over Harlan County, Ky.

* Jesse Owens, Whitwell: The Tigers defeated Bledsoe County 11-1 behind his 4-for-5 performance that included a double and four RBIs.

* McKenna Blevins, South Pittsburg: In South Pittsburg's Homerun Classic tournament, he pitched four innings of no-hit ball with eight strikeouts in a 12-3 five-inning victory over Hamilton Heights.

* Skylar Burgess, Grundy County: The Yellow Jackets defeated East Robertson 12-11 in six innnings in South Pittsburg's Homerun Classic with Burgess going 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored.

* Logan Phillips, Chattanooga Christian: He was the winning pitcher in a three-inning game, allowing three hits and striking out four when the Chargers beat Lookout Valley 13-3 in South Pittsburg's Homerun Classic.

* Jacob Maynard, Bradley Central: He was 2-for-4 with a homer and two runs scored and the Bears beat East Hamilton 8-4 in Hixson's Wildcat Classic tournament.

* Taylor Maxey, Baylor: He was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs as the Red Raiders won 3-2 over Station Camp in the Scenic City Classic.

* Jake Wyrick, Cleveland: He doubled twice and drove in three runs for the Blue Raiders, who beat Red Bank 12-7 in a Scenic City Classic game.

* Joshua Brower, Chattanooga Christian: His first-half goal was the only score when CCS won its boys' soccer match over David Lipscomb.

* Kyle Johnston, Zach Payne, Baylor: The Red Raiders won 2-1 in their own boys' soccer tournament with Johnston and Payne registering second-half goals.

* Jon Azan, Hunter Brock, McCallie: In the Baylor tournament, the Blue Tornado got two goals apiece from Azan and Brock and earned a 7-0 win over Albertville, Ala.
