Arkansas Department of Corrections trustees gather watermelons on a farm in Scott while providing labor for the Arkansas Gleaning Project. The project, formed by Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance and the Society of Saint Andrew gleans donated fields and orchards around the state and distributes the produce to local food banks, pantries, soup kitchens and shelters that feed or distribute food to the needy.
