Silverdale Baptist Academy sophomore Allison Meadows was stabbed Monday afternoon in a Target in Pittsburgh, Pa., while visiting relatives on spring break.
According to a report posted on the SBA Facebook page, Allison was stabbed multiple times in the arm and once in her back, which caused a collapsed lung. Police are still trying to determine motive for the assailant's behavior.
The student underwent surgery Monday night to repair her wounds and is expected to make a full recovery.
Four other people were also stabbed.
Officers were called to the store in the East Liberty section of the city shortly after 5:30 p.m. Monday. Police say a male suspect was arrested at the scene.
