Fun fact: For the first time, Red Bank will take part in the Civil War tour this April. The city will feature two historic sites. At the corner of Signal Mountain Road and Dayton Boulevard, there will be a tent hospital like the ones used during the war. There will also be a spot on Memorial Drive marking Gen. William T. Sherman’s former encampment.
I like its proximity. It’s a diamond in the rough, really. I can be in downtown Chattanooga or anywhere else in no time.”
