ArtsBuild is launching a new program, the Holmberg Arts Leadership Institute for Teachers, on June 11-13. The program is based on ArtsBuild's Arts Leadership Institute presented each fall.

The Holmberg Arts Leadership Institute for Teachers is open to all K-12 teachers and administrators in the Hamilton County region, in public or private schools.

The program will give participants a more in-depth understanding of the role the arts play in Hamilton County's economy. Classes will focus on the impact of the arts on economic development, downtown development, education, diversity and quality of life.

The institute will also feature hands-on activities, tours of arts organizations and artist studios as well as guest speakers and panelists.

Classes will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Tuesday, June 11, to Thursday, June 13. Tuition is $60.
