Four drug-related arrests made in DeKalb County, Ala.

Alabama officials made four drug-related arrests on Friday afternoon, according to a news release.

Drug Task Force agents arrested a Fyffe man after they noticed he was acting suspiciously while acquiring materials in Fort Payne.

Officers removed Jason Andrew Kilpatrick, 33, from his vehicle and found chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetamine in plain view.

Kilpatrick was charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance second. He was taken to the DeKalb County Detention Center where he awaits bond.

Alabama State Troopers and Deputies arrested Michael S. Stimpton, 54, of Sand Rock, on County Road 83 after a routine traffic stop. Officers discovered meth and drug paraphernalia in Stimpton's vehicle after performing a consent search. Stimpson was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the DeKalb County Detention Center on bonds totaling $9000.

A Crossville Police Officer arrested two after a routine traffic stop led to a residential search. Crossville police and DeKalb deputies discovered finished product from a meth lab at the residence and arrested Jennifer Tidmore, 24, and Tyler Mark Johnson, 21. Both were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Both await bond in the DeKalb County Detention Center, the release says.
