• After requesting a transfer, Principal Paul Smith will leave the Howard School to become principal at Tyner Middle Academy. A replacement principal for Howard has not yet been named.
• After requesting a transfer, Soddy-Daisy High Principal John Maynard will become an assistant principal at another school. A replacement for Soddy-Daisy has not yet been named.
Wendy Jung, principal at Tyner Middle Academy, has accepted a two-year research and professional development fellowship with the Teachers Development Group. Jung has been with the school system since 1990 and will be retained as a principal on special assignment while with TDG.
Aimee Randolph, current principal at Thrasher Elementary, will become the lead director of instruction, a new central office position created through a restructuring. Randolph has been with the school system since 1977.
Becky Coleman, current principal at Calvin Donaldson Elementary, will become the K-12 literacy director in the central office. Coleman has been with the school system since 2000.
Jim Boles, assistant principal at Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences upper school, will become principal there. He has been with the school system since 1994 and will replace Barbara Jordan, who is retiring.
Regina Brock, principal at Lookout Valley Elementary, will become principal at Thrasher Elementary. She's been with the school system since 1987.
Cherrye Robertson, assistant principal at Calvin Donaldson Elementary, will become principal there. She has been with the school system since 2003.
Alisan Taylor, assistant principal at Nolan Elementary, will become principal at Lookout Valley Elementary. She has been with the school system since 1984.
Gail Huffstutler, assistant principal at Bess T. Shepherd Elementary, will become principal at East Ridge Elementary. She has been with the school system since 1999 and is replacing Carol Langston, who is retiring.
Allison DeYoung, assistant principal at Apison Elementary, will become principal at Ganns-Middle Valley Elementary. She has been with the school system since 2005 and is replacing Sandra Jerardi, who is retiring.
Julie Fine, assistant principal at Wallace A. Smith Elementary, will become principal at Hixson Elementary. She has been with the school system since 1981 and is replacing Danna Thorne, who is moving out of state.
