2 men, woman arrested on Limestone County house boat on charges related to the manufacture of meth

ATHENS, Ala. - Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely and several deputies have arrested two men and a teenage girl on a house boat in the Elk River on charges related to the manufacture of methamphetamines.

Authorities told the Athens News-Courier newspaper the men were charged with possession of items used in the manufacture of methamphetamines.

Charles David Greenway, 28, of Athens, Tenn., and Jason Brewer, 33, of Lynnville, Tenn., were charged by Limestone authorities with possession of precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Megan Hodge, 19, of Athens, Ala., was charged with possession of precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Blakely said the three were arrested Saturday after deputies receive a tip that the three were hiding on the house boat.
