Chattanooga’s envoy to the national bee, Nicole C. Frische, 12, a sixth-grader at Loftis Middle School, was eliminated Wednesday and didn’t make the list of 42 semifinalists. Nicole was sponsored by the Chattanooga Times Free Press and also competed in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in 2012.
