Principals Leadership Academy

Eleven aspiring principals graduated from this year's Principal Leadership Academy, a partnership among the Hamilton County Department of Education, the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, the Public Education Foundation and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

In the program, aspiring school leaders are paired with local business leaders. Participants learn how to achieve high academic standards along with the business side of being a principal, including finances, human resources and management.
