Traffic flows down Battlefield Parkway.The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced Battlefield Parkway in Catoosa County will soon undergo a resurfacing that is expected to be completed by the end of September 2014.
The $4.4 million project will include milling and plant mix resurfacing on the road for 7.2 miles.
It will extend from the Walker County line to west of Fowler Road in Catoosa County.
GDOT said added information on construction and lane closure schedules will be announced before the work begins.
