WALKER COUNTY, Ga. - Members of the U.S. Marshals Service arrested a suspect in a Walker County, Ga., slaying Tuesday evening.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said officers found 20-year-old Marcus Sutton inside a home at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 31st Street around 4:45 p.m. The sheriff's office believes Sutton killed 23-year-old Anderson Trammel Watts Jr. in a Rossville apartment on Wednesday night.

Wilson said Sutton is being treated for a leg injury before going to the Hamilton County Jail. Sutton apparently injured his leg running away after shooting Watts.

If Sutton did commit the slaying, investigators still aren't sure why. Sutton and Watts attended Ridgeland High School together.
