BENTON, Tenn. - Polk County officials are on the scene of a fatal house fire in Benton.

Polk County EMS Director Steven Lofty tell us they responded to the 7900 block of Highway 411 around 5 a.m.

Lofty says four people were inside when the fire broke out. A woman and her two children exited the home with the husband. The husband turned around to go back inside and did not come back out.
