The community is invited to the free Loftis Middle School Community Day and Car Show Saturday, Nov. 9, at the school at 8611 Columbus Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There is no admission charge to get in, but proceeds will go toward the Dallas Bay Firefighters Christmas Fund. On hand will be vendors, inflatables for children, live music and free food.
The cost for the car show is a $10 donation or a new toy equivalent to the same price.
