Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga needs bowlers to participate in its annual Bowl-A-Rama fundraiser for ill children.
The event will take place tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pin Strikes Bowling Alley, 6241 Perimeter Drive.
The Bowl-A-Rama is sponsored in part by Ameriprise Financial (Scotchie & Associates), Thompson Engineering, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and TVA. Money raised benefits families of seriously ill and injured children receiving care at nearby Chattanooga hospitals.
The cost is $25 per bowler per event, which includes shoe rental and three games of bowling. Participants are encouraged to register in teams of four to five bowlers or as individuals to be placed with a team. Registration is available online at no cost at www.rmhchattanooga.com.
