2 men face charges in Selma, Ala., shooting deaths

SELMA, Ala. - Authorities say they've charged two men with capital murder in connection with the killings of two Selma residents.

The Selma Times-Journal reportsthat the bodies of the man and woman were discovered shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday in an upstairs apartment at Candlewood Apartments on Lincoln Drive in Selma. Police say they were shot to death.

Selma police Lt. Curtis Muhannad said 28-year-old Beonridge Bradley III; and 29-year-old Eddie James Irvin III are being held in the Dallas County Jail on capital murder charges. It wasn't known early Monday whether the men have attorneys.

Muhannad said Bradley is the husband of the deceased woman. He said the names of the victims are being withheld until relatives can be notified.
