COLUMBUS, Ga. - A man accused of impregnating a 13-year-old girl and giving an 11-year-old girl a sexually transmitted disease has been sentenced to two consecutive life prison terms.

Assistant Muscogee County District Attorney Wesley Lambertus says 32-year-old Larrie Scott likely assaulted the now 15-year-old victim he impregnated at least 20 times over the course of nearly a decade. The victim gave birth to a baby girl and told the court that her daughter is the only good thing to come out of the ordeal.

The teen told the court Scott will never see his daughter.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported that allegations against Scott surfaced in August 2011 and authorities were unaware that the younger girl had been abused until a physician diagnosed her with chlamydia in January 2012.
