Chattanooga to be a home to an office of German-American Chamber of Commerce

Chattanooga will be the new home of an office of the German-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States, officials said today.

The new office will go in the Volunteer Building at 832 Georgia Ave.

U.S. Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will be on hand Friday to open the office.

Also, Martina Stellmaszek, chief executive of GACC South, will open the office.

The office's aim will be to promote and support bilateral trade between Germany and the U.S.
